The Opportunity:
At Logic Fortress we understand that some installations present more complexity than others and take pride in being able to rise to these challenges, providing customized solutions that meet our clients’ specific needs. For example, when we were tasked with outfitting the Boulderdash Coaster ride at Lake Compounce in CT. with cameras, we faced a unique set of challenges. The ride is the longest and fastest wooden roller coaster on the East Coast, and its precarious positioning along side a mountain presented us with a series of extreme conditions our hardware would need to hold up to.
The Solution:
To meet these challenges, we carefully tested and verified the hardware we selected for integration before recommending it to the client. Our specialized point-to-multi-point antennas, network switches, cameras, and NVR equipment were designed to withstand the harsh elements that the mountain coaster mounted cameras face throughout the seasons. In addition, the 60+ MPH trains run thousands of times each year and create some of the most intense vibrations found in any environment. We also used specialized network switches that enable cable runs in excess of 820ft. and point-to-multi-point network communication antennas designed for connection links up to 10km. The 4,725-foot track was successfully outfitted with a fully unified video surveillance system that, over the years since its installation, has proven to be extremely reliable.
